The display of the BNI IOF-329-P02-Z038 module has two LEDs, two buttons and a three-line
LCD display. When the module is started up and when activating the menu (pressing a button)
the background lighting is turned on to ensure legibility even in dim ambient light. The
background lighting is turned off ten seconds after the last action.
You can use the display to set the F-address and the display contrast (Section 6.5 Setting
display contrast, page 32). All other parameters can only be read on the display and cannot
be changed.

The ↑ button (2) is used to change between the individual menu levels/positions (see Menu
structure starting page 27).
The S button (3) is used to open the selected menu level. To go back from a (sub-) menu level to
the previous level, hold the S button down for three seconds.
Both LEDs can be controlled together using the output process data and if needed can be red
or green at the same time (see Standard output address range on page 83).
