Configuration of the PROFIsafe connection
F_iPar_CRC
Checksum for the values of the device-specific module parameters (Parameter see Section 9.5
HMI lock on page 54 and Section 10 Configuring the I/O ports on page 56). This checksum
is calculated in the safety P-Tool (see Section 8.1 on page 42). It is used for detecting
transmission errors between the F-PLC and safe I/O module.
The checksum (CRC) calculated in the safety P-Tool must be sent to the field F_iPar_CRC of the
F-PLC. When connecting the safe device this checksum is compared and verified in the device
itself.
Default setting: 0 (see Figure 42).
This value must be changed after finishing the overall configuration. The substitution value 0 is
entered here by the generated P-Tool checksum.
