"COMPENSATION"
(ROC) SCREEN
Used to select and execute the procedure
to compensate for the rim off-centre and
off-plane following the mode set by the
selected method.
The following ROC options are available:
• Push Mode ROC
• Skip Roc
• Recall Roc
The following keys are active in this
window:
displays the on-line "Help"
F1
function
F2
goes back to the previous
window
Displays the menu with the
F11
contextual functions.
These are the menu options:
• End of work (Goes back to the starting
screen)
• Help (recalls the Help contextual screen
on the screen where you are)
"PUSH MODE ROC"
EXECUTION
• Make sure the wheels rotate freely.
• The procedure starts automatically. The
four hourglasses displayed on the screen
indicate the beginning of the measure-
ment; the hourglasses and the "OK" mes-
sage displayed on the four wheels indicate
the beginning of the saving of the initial
position (0°) for all the wheels.
• Push the vehicle as indicated (fig.30)
until the wheels complete a rotation of
about 30°, or until the "STOP" message
is displayed.
• Wait until the "OK" messages are dis-
played, which indicates the beginning of
the saving for all the wheels
• Take the car to the initial position making
the wheels complete a rotation of about
30° in the opposite direction, until the
"STOP" message is displayed again.
• Wait until the "OK" messages are dis-
played, which indicates the beginning of
the saving of the "0°" positions for all
the wheels.
At the end of the compensation procedure,
a window is displayed, with icons indicat-
ing the operations to be performed next:
- Adjust the suspensions shacking the
vehicle vertically
-
Lock the wheels with the specific pedal
depressor
• Carry out the operations indicated by the
icons
• Press F3 (Enter) to confirm and go to the
next window. Now, the compensation
procedure also ends.

STEERING ANGLE

For executing the 10° or 20° steering for
calculating:caster, king pin angle, included
angle, toe
out on turn at 20º (fig. 31).
The following keys are active in this screen:
F1

function
F2
goes back to the previous
screen
F3
goes to the next screen
F11
Displays the menu with the
contextual functions.
