Air filter (optional)

Depending on the degree of impurities sucked in, the suction filter cartridge will clog. We recommend a
replacement at least every 1 000 hours. This frequency must be adapted to suit your pumping application.
Clean the inside of the filter.
For the carbon filter: the weight of the carbon filter gives information on its operating state.

Automatic drain

This drain re-injects the oil from the separating cartridges into the pump. It is located in the separating
cartridge compartment (see view § 3.3.4).
Operating check:
Stop the pump. Remove the plate giving access to the compartment of the separating cartridge(s). Add a
1/4 litre of oil to the drain: the float should rise. Start up the pump: the additional 1/4 litre of oil should be
sucked in, the level in the separating cartridge(s) compartment drops.

Maintenance for E25.R / E40.R / E65.R / E100.R:
If the operation is correct, no maintenance is necessary.
If the level does not drop after adding oil and restarting the vacuum pump, remove the float; remove the
peg and its seal, clean the hole (blowing), then reassemble the assembly.
Maintenance for E150.R / E200.R / E300.R /
E400.R / E500.R / E600.R:
Remove screws [1] and take the drain
assembly out. Drive out the pin [2] then
change the float [3] and the seal [4]; clean the
nozzle [5] (blowing). Reinstall the assembly by
changing the o'ring [6].

Vanes replacement

E25.R / E40.R:
Remove the cover. Remove the cooling system, then remove the back
plate.
Replace the 3 sliding vanes one by one by respecting the position of the
sliding vane's chamfer, rounded shape at the rear.
E65.R / E100.R / E150.R / E200.R / E300.R:
Remove the motor and detach the 1/2 coupling sleeve from the rotor shaft
and then disassemble the lamp.
Replace the 3 sliding vanes one by one by respecting the position of the
sliding vane's chamfer, rounded shape at the rear.
E350.R / E400.R / E500.R / E600.R:
Remove the cover. Remove the cooling system, then remove the back
plate. Replace the sliding vanes one by one by respecting the position of
the sliding vane's chamfer.
3.3.12.

Oil level safety device (optional)

It is possible to install a float that triggers an alarm if the oil level drops. It is mounted on the plate where
the oil level sight glass and drainage valve are installed.
When mounting the float, take care to seal the threading properly.
Practical advice:
it is recommended to apply a timeout of at least 30 seconds on the alarm signal to avoid having untimely
activation (swashing of the oil).
