3.5.6 Digital pressure display unit
The digital pressure display unit is designed for opera-
tion with 2 x Mignon batteries (AA, LR6) or 2 x Mignon
NiMh storage batteries (AA, LR6), 2500 mAh and has
an operating time of about 50 hours with fully charged
batteries / storage batteries (depending on the aging
process of the batteries / storage batteries).
The digital pressure display unit switches off automati-
cally about 5 minutes after a button was last actuated.

The illumination level and on-period have been set
very low in order to achieve a long operating time
with a set of storage batteries or batteries. It is most
effective when the light level of the surroundings is
low (e.g. in a vehicle).

The additional illumination switches off automati-
cally after 15 seconds and can be reactivated by
pressing a button briefly.

Prevent moisture from getting inside.

Ensure correct polarity when installing the batteries/
storage batteries!

If [BATT LOW] or [BATT OFF] appears on the dis-
play, the storage batteries/batteries are empty.
Remove empty batteries from the pressure display
and replace with new batteries.

If storage batteries are being used, remove the
storage batteries from the pressure display unit and
charge them with a commercially available charger.
We recommend use of a charger with the following
