Connection setup It is possible to configure the connection using either Terminal soft-

A VideoJet 10 with connected camera as a transmitter and a Video-
Jet 10 with connected monitor as a receiver can be linked together
simply over an Ethernet network. It is thus possible to link large dis-
tances with little installation or cabling effort.
With the appropriate configuration the VideoJet 10 units can auto-
matically establish a connection with each other. This assumes
that, as a minimum, they are linked into a closed network. To install
the units proceed as follows:
Connect the units into the closed network using Ethernet cables .
Connect power to the units.

Make sure the units are configured for the characteristics of the net-
work environment and that the transmitting unit, under the parame-
ter Live video receiver IP address, is set for the IP address of the
receiver (see page 58).

connected monitor.
Note
It is only possible to establish the connection using the alarm input
if the parameter Connect on alarm is set to On on the configura-
tion page Alarm connections (see page 58).
