Datarate:
Enter here the datarate for transmission over the network.
Video quality settings:
Here you can adjust the video quality in relation to the frame rate.
With the option Auto the video quality is set in due proportion to the
frame rate automatically. By choosing Manual you can set the
slider to a value between 1 and 31. 1 stands for highest quality with
a lower frame refresh rate. 31 stands for maximum frame rate at a
lower quality.
Intra frame distance:
Here you can define the number of frames up to the proximate I-
frame.
Warning!
If recordings are to be made a value greater than 0 must be chosen
here.
Frame skip ratio:
The chosen number defines which frames are encoded and trans-
mitted. Choosing 4 e.g. only every fourth frame is encoded, the fol-
lowing three frames are skipped. Especially with narrow bandwidth
this can be of advantage.
Video resolution:
Select the desired resolution for the MPEG-4 video picture. You can
choose out of the following options:
QCIF 176 × 144 pixels
CIF
2CIF 704 × 288 pixels
Reset this parameter preset:
When the Default button is pressed the parameters for the selected
profile are reset to the factory default values.
