Parameter preset:
Eight preprogrammed profiles are available for each of the two
MPEG-4 encoder which are optimized for different modes of trans-
mission:
high quality (CIF)

for connections with high bandwidth, resolution 352 × 288
high resolution (2CIF)
!
for connections with high bandwidth, resolution 704 × 288
small resolution (QCIF)
!
for connections with low bandwidth, resolution 176 × 144
DSL
!
for DSL connections with 500 kBit/s
ISDN (2B)
!
for ISDN connections over two B channels
ISDN (1B)
!
for ISDN connections over one B channel
MODEM
!
for analog modem connections with 20 kBit/s
GSM
!
for GSM modem connections
By changing the parameter values you can adapt the profiles to
your specific needs. After clicking the Set button the chosen profile
becomes active and changes in the parameters are taken over.
Note
All parameters together make a profile and are dependent on one
another. When a parameter value out of range is set the next pos-
sible value will automatically be entered when clicking on Set.
Preset parameter name:
Enter here a unique name for the chosen resp. modified profile. The
name will be taken over into the field Parameter preset automati-
cally.
