The VideoJet 10 transmitter provides two MPEG-4 video encoder
that can be configured seperately. The benefit of this so called dual
encoding is that you can transmit and record simultaneously with
different compression parameters. The data transmission parame-
ters can be configured to suit the local operating environment (e.g.
network architecture, bandwidth, data structures).
For both of the MPEG-4 encoders several preprogrammed profiles
are available which are optimized for different modes of transmis-
sion. You can change these profils individually in the Expert Mode
by inserting the parameter values wanted. It is advisable to give a
new name to the modified profile to facilitate recognition. Click on
the respective tab to switch between the parameters of the two
encoder. On the page Livepage configuration you decide which
encoder is to be shown on the Livepage (see page 71).
