The links to the Media-Replay and the configuration pages Media
partition and Recording scheduler are only displayed when the
VideoJet 10 is provided with a storage medium for local recording
(e.g. CompactFlash card).
The storage medium of the VideoJet 10 can handle up to 8 parti-
tions, configured in the same way a typical hard disk for a computer
is.
If permanent storage of video sequences on the storage medium is
necessary the setup of more than one partition is crucial because
after recording of the regarding sequences another partition can be
activated to eliminate any possibility of overwriting.
With each partition the parameters can be individually defined in
ways like size, quality, type of video recording and compression
standard. Changes in these parameters result in a complete reor-
ganization and as a result previously saved data on the partition will
be deleted.
All the partitions can be viewed in the table on the page Media par-
tition listed by name, order number, recording format/video quality,
recording type and partition size.
