Einsatz der Fiberskope
• Falls kein Instrument eingeführt ist, den Instru-
mentenkanal proximal mit Stopfen
(Art.-Nr. 29100) verschließen.
• Falls ein Instrument eingeführt werden soll,
Lippenventil (Art.-Nr. 11301 CA) für Einmal-
gebrauch aufsetzen, um den Instrumenten kanal
proximal abzudichten.
• Durch den Instrumentenkanal der Fiberskope
können speziell dafür entwickelte Instrumente
eingeführt werden. Achten Sie auf geeignete
Länge und Durchmesser des Zubehörs. Un-
geeignetes Zubehör kann Fiberskope beschä-
digen. Bei Fragen zum Zubehör wenden Sie
sich bitte direkt an KARL STORZ oder an den
autorisierten Fachhandel.
Hinweis: Bei der ersten Benutzung des Lippen-
ventils wird dem Instrument ein erhöhter Arbeits-
widerstand entgegen gebracht. Dieser Widerstand
reduziert sich mit zunehmendem Einsatz.
• Beim Einführen eines Instrumentes in den
Instrumentenkanal muss sich das Fiberskop in
gerader, nicht abgewinkelter Position befinden

dem Grad der Abwinkelung. Gewalt sames
Einführen der Instrumente kann zur
Beschädigung des Fiberskopes
bzw. des Instrumentenkanals führen.
Using the fiberscopes
• If no instrument is inserted, close the instrument
channel proximally with a plug
(Art. no. 29100).
• If an instrument is to be inserted, position the
disposable lip valve (Art. no. 11301 CA) to seal
off the instrument channel proximally.
• Instruments especially designed for this may
be inserted through the instrument channel of
the fiberscopes. Make certain the accessories
have a suitable length and diameter. Unsuit-
able accessories may damage the fiberscopes.

note: When the lip valve is first used, the instru-
ment is subjected to increased resistance. This
resistance will decrease the more often the lip valve
is used.
• When inserting an instrument into the instrument
channel, the fiberscope must be in a straight,
nondeflected position.
caution: When inserting instruments,
increasing resistance is felt with increasing
deflection. Forced introduction of
instruments can lead to damage to the
fiberscope or the instrument channel.
Aplicación de los fibroscopios
• Si no se ha introducido ningún instrumen-
to, cierre el extremo proximal del canal para
instrumentos con el tapón (nº de art. 29100).
• Si ha de introducirse un instrumento, coloque la
válvula de labios desechable
(nº de art. 11301 CA) a fin de hermetizar el ex-
tremo proximal del canal para instrumentos.
• A través del canal para instrumentos del fi-
broscopio pueden introducirse instrumentos
especialmente diseñados al efecto. Preste aten-
ción a una longitud y diámetro adecuados de
los accesorios. Accesorios inadecuados pueden
deteriorar los fibroscopios. Para consultas con
respecto a los accesorios, diríjase directamente
a KARL STORZ o a un es tablecimiento especia-
lizado autorizado.
nota: Al utilizar la válvula de labios por primera
vez, el instrumento encuentra una mayor resistencia
de trabajo. Esta resistencia se va reduciendo al ir
aumentando la aplicación.
• Al introducir un instrumento en el canal para
instrumentos, el fibroscopio ha de estar en
posición recta, no angulada.
adVertencia: La resistencia que se
percibe al introducir el instrumento aumenta
según el grado de angulación. Una
in troducción violenta del instrumento pue de
provocar deterioros en el fibroscopio o en el
canal para instrumentos.
