Very strong, extremely established in areas and highly flexible in all
operating ranges are the features of the military-Lkw MAN mil gl 6x6.
Since the features of the original made such a lasting impression on
us, the robbe development department were given a design order for
this model to the scale1: 14.5.
The focus was on the authentic reproduction of the original and its
use in medium off road operation. Naturally, the design of the model
took into account the use of all robbe accessory components, such as
sound-modules and light-sets.
Parallel to the development of the MAN mil gl 6x6 model, new steel
universal joint shaft and prototypical coil-spring suspension fitted
with shock absorbers, have been designed for use in this mode. Both
recent developments lead to better drive- and suspension characteris-
tics of the whole model as well as giving an authentic reproduction of
the original .vehicle

The Original
The original prototype of the Bussard was used on the waterways in
the Ruhr area by the water management authorities to carry out water
checks for environmental purposes, to measure current speeds, to
check and maintain channel markings and for many other different
jobs.
The Model
Size, appearance and features from the original provide the ideal
basis for the almost completely assembled model of the Bussard. In
the case of the Bussard, almost completely assembled, means that
the boat has been factory assembled to the point that only some
finishing work, such as applying decals and accessories and building
in the remote control components need to be done by the owner. Even
without any prior experience of modelling, it is possible to get the Bus-
sard ready to go over a weekend.
Magin one Black - race edition
The Magin One has been a racing boat in the robbe model boat prod-
uct range for over eight years. This model has been very successful in
Mono-racing boat competitions for several seasons, particularly in the
S 14/S 12/MS 2 basic class, During this year some modifications to
the original model were developed and tested.
The result of this reworking is the Magin One Black Race Edition. In
order to increase the top speed to around 70 kph, we modified the
base of the hull, the drive train and the rudder system, as well as the
Turn fin.
Unlike the "old" Magin the Race Edition has its entire drive train with-
out the E-motor in the set contents. Future drivers of the Magin One
Black have three alternative motor options all based on the recom-
mended 4S LiPo battery with at least 4400mAh capacity:
- Standard 700 brushed motor, to be able to power the Magin One
Black to speeds of nearly 60km/h in the race boat class S14/S12/
MS2basic
- brushless Roxxy 3656/06, to be able to reach almost 70km/h with
longer duration. This configuration has been used also in the 2009
Mono 2 competition class
- brushless Roxxy 3650/06 for total speed freaks, to go faster than
70kph and to test the limits of this modified model
