A special-purpose speed controller for model trucks and other special-
purpose vehicles. Fine motor control with a wide zero position and a
non-linear control curve as well as a high motor frequency, that has
been specially tuned to suit the typical Truck motors.
The controller has been specified for high current - also at partial
throttle - and comes complete with suitably sized heat-sink.
Full, high-resolution speed control in forward and reverse; no brake
function in the neutral position, as this can be a nuisance during preci-
sion manoeuvring.
The speed controller features an integral Rx filter which suppresses
brief interference and "glitches", a further great advantage for tight
manoeuvring.
The unit includes a high-power BEC circuit which is capable of sup-
plying the necessary power to multiple servos and auxiliary function
modules (lighting set etc.).

In marine models, the throttle is often controlled with a stick fitted with
a ratchet. With normal controllers, the neutral point is often to small,
so that docking manoevres become difficult, because it is difficult to
"find" the neutral point.
This controller is different, and the neutral point has been increased
markedly. Additionally, the controller has a non-linear control curve, by
which a very fine motor control is possible around the neutral point.
Combined with a high resolution of the control throw and a motor
frequency optimised for marine model motors results in excellent
manoevrability.
