12.1 Dual-rate steering (D/r-cH1)

This function affects the steering servo control throw. When the steering
movement is too small and the vehicle understeers in a bend, increase
the movement. When the vehicle oversteers, due to too much move-
ment, reduce the throw. This operation is made using the convenient
rocker switch located in the hand-grip. Press the rocker switch up to
increase and down to reduce the values.
To activate "reduced control throw", operate the D/R rocker switch in the
appropriate direction.

The Dual Rate settings are shown as percentages in the Display.. The
adjustment range lies between 30 and
100%
This option can be seen in connection with
the steering servo throw adjustment (EPA-
CH1) and (see chapter 12.4). Both options
(30 - 100%)
must be set to work with each other. The
advantage of the D/R-Function may be
seen, that the servo throw can be conveni-
ently adjusted whilst driving, without having
to change to the Programming Mode.

12.2 Model select / Model-reset (MDL)

This function is used, when you would like to drive another vehicle or

activate another model memory. It is also used when programming new
model data to activate a new memory.
The transmitter has 10 model memories as standard, all adjustments
which are carried out are stored here.
Different models and uses can be individually stored and when needs
quickly accessed. To help with an improved overview, the model memo-
ries are numbered (M 01 to M 10)

This function electronically reverses all servo directions. This means

can enter the menu from the Model Select screen.

Reversing is made with the steering trim (DT1). With every operation,
whether left or right, the servo direction will be reversed.

12.4 servo end point adjustment (epa-cH1-4)

The EPA (End-Point Adjuster) function makes it possible to separately
adjust the servo throw for each direction in a range from 0-120%, irre-
spective of the throw direction.

This is necessary to ensure that the servo does not have a larger throw
than the mechanical limits.
