Thank you for choosing a robbe-Futaba radio system. We would like
to wish you every success with your new radio control system.
Megatech
Make sure you read this safety information and the instructions
BEFORE using the radio control system. If you are operating model
boats or vehicles for the first time, we recommend that you enlist the
help of an experienced modeller.
This radio system is conceived and homologated exclusively for the
operation of radio-controlled models.
Robbe Modellsport accepts absolutely no liability when used in other
applications.
Radio-controlled models are not toys or playthings in the usual
meaning of the term, and young people should not operate them
under fourteen years of age unless an experienced adult is available
to supervise them. Building and operating these models requires tech-
nical expertise, manual skills, a cautious attitude and safety-conscious
behaviour.
Errors, negligence and omissions in building or operating these
models can result in serious personal injury and damage to property.
Since the manufacturer and vendors of the equipment have no means
of checking that your models are built, operated and used correctly,
and for this reason we can do no more than bring these hazards
expressly to your attention. We deny all further liability.
Technical faults, whether electrical or mechanical, can result in elec-
tric motors bursting into life unexpectedly, causing other parts to come
loose and fly around at high speed (failsafe function). Switching on the
receiver system when the transmitter is not operating can also have
the same effect.
In either case there is a serious risk of injury. Propellers and all other
rotating objects, which are driven by motors, represent a constant
hazard and a potential source of injury.
never allow any body parts to be in close proximity to any rota-
ting parts.
Never go near to an electric motor/propeller or other rotating parts
when connected to their battery. Also take care to keep all other
objects from making contact with moving or rotating parts of the model!
away from sources of heat, cold and vibration. Only use the radio in an
ambient temperature range - 15° C to + 55°C.
Only use the recommended charger and charge the batteries for the
prescribed charge time. •
by the battery manufacturer. Incorrect or overcharging the batteries
can cause the batteries to explode. Always ensure correct polarity.
Avoid shock or pressure loads. Check your equipment for any
damage to cables and casings. Dont re-use devices which have been
subject to crash or water damage.
Either return to robbe Service Department for repair or replace.
Hidden problems may occur after a crash or water damage which can
lead to problems later in operation
Only the recommended components and accessories may be used.
Only use original robbe Futabe connectors. No modifications are allo-
wed to be made to the equipment.
