Switching on the appliance
After installing the appliance, at least ½ hr. should be
allowed to pass before the appliance is operated. During
transport, it may happen that the oil contained in the
compressor is displaced into the refrigeration system.
Before the first start up, clean the interior of the appliance
(see Cleaning the appliance").
Insert the mains plug into a socket.
After connecting to the mains, the appliance begins to
cool. The interior lights are on when the doors are open.
Note:
The preset temperatures (factory settings) are reached
after approximately 3 5 hours. Do not put any food into
the appliance beforehand.
When using the fridge for the first time, the factory
D
setting for the fridge compartment is +5 ºC.
When using the fridge for the first time, the factory
D
setting for the freezer compartment is 18 ºC.
Make temperature adjustments no earlier than after
24 hours so that the temperature in the appliance can
stabilise.

temperature".
Notes on using the appliance
Opening and closing fridge
compartment doors
The fridge compartment doors can be opened and
closed independently of one another.
On the left fridge compartment door is a hinged door
cross beam.
Warning!
!
Before closing the fridge compartment doors,
ensure that the door cross beam is at a right angle
to the door.
The door cross beam can be damaged if an attempt
is made to close the left fridge door when the door
cross beam is folded outwards.
When closing the left fridge door, the door cross beam
folds behind the right fridge door and forms the seal
between the doors.
