For an extended period of non use
(more than 3 months) and for an
ambient temperature less than 13 ºC
1 Remove all food from the appliance.
2 Turn off water supply (1 day before switching off the
ice maker).
3 Empty ice cube container.
4 Raise arm and bring into the locked position to switch
off the ice maker.
5 Allow remaining water to run out.
6 Remove and dispose of filter cartridge. Install bypass
cover.

Switch off the appliance.
8 Pull out mains plug or switch off circuit breaker.
9 Clean the interior of the appliance (see Cleaning the
appliance").
10 To avoid the formation of odours, leave fridge and
freezer compartment doors open.

Switch off the appliance.
2 Pull out mains plug or switch off circuit breaker!
3 Wipe off door seal with clean water only and
thoroughly rub dry afterwards.
4 Clean the appliance with lukewarm water and some
detergent. The rinse water must not enter into the
control panel or interior lighting.
Note: Never clean shelves or containers in the
dishwasher. The parts can deform! Do not use
abrasive or corrosive cleaners and solvents.
5 After cleaning, insert mains plug or switch on circuit
breaker.

Never clean the appliance using a steam cleaner!
Steam can come into contact with electrically live
parts of the appliance and cause a short circuit or an
electric shock. Steam can damage the plastic
surfaces.
