Malfunction
Ice forms in the inlet hose to the
ice maker.
Water runs out from the appliance.
No water from the water
dispenser.
The water flow is less than normal.
Dispensed water is not cold.
Possible cause
Water pressure too low.
Water connection is not completely
opened.
Temperature in the freezer
compartment is set too high.
The water connection line is leaking.
Water connection is improperly
installed.
Filter cartridge clogged or spent.
Water pressure too low.
Water connection is not completely
opened.
Water connection is improperly
installed.
Water connection line has kinks.
Filter cartridge clogged or spent.
Appliance was only recently set up.
Water stood for an extended period of
time in the lines and adjusted to
ambient temperature.
Remedial action
Have water pressure checked. Water
pressure must lie between 0.14 MPa
(1.4 bar) and 0.69 MPa (6.9 bar). If a
filter cartridge is used, then the water
pressure must lie between 0.24 MPa
(2.4 bar) and 0.69 MPa (6.9 bar).
Open water connection completely.
Temperature in the freezer
compartment should be between
17 and 18 ºC; adjust if necessary.
Have the water connection line
replaced by an original replacement
part from the manufacturer.
An improper water connection can
cause low water pressure and
damage to the appliance.
Replace Filter cartridge.
Have water pressure checked. Water
pressure must lie between 0.14 MPa
(1.4 bar) and 0.69 MPa (6.9 bar). If a
filter cartridge is used, then the water
pressure must lie between 0.24 MPa
(2.4 bar) and 0.69 MPa (6.9 bar).
Open water connection completely
and check for leaks. Check the
minimum water flow:
295 ml / 9 sec. with a new filter
cartridge
295 ml / 5 sec. without a filter
cartridge
An improper water connection can
cause low water pressure and
damage to the appliance.
Turn off water supply. Smooth out
kinks. Have a damaged water
connection line replaced by an
original replacement part from the
manufacturer.
Replace Filter cartridge.
Water requires approx. 12 hours for
cooling down.
Pour off first container of water.
