Transport

Never transport the appliance on its side.

If transport in the upright position is not possible,
place appliance on its back.
After installing the appliance, at least ½ hr. should be
allowed to pass before the appliance is operated.
During transport, it may happen that the oil contained
in the compressor is displaced into the refrigeration
system.
Transport appliance using a trolley.

Always load appliance from the side or from the rear;
never from the front.
Fasten appliance to the trolley with straps. Pull straps
D
through the handle.
In order not to damage the housing, never pull straps
too tight.
During transport, protect surfaces of the appliance,

e.g., with covers or similar.
If the appliance does not fit through the door of the
D
house or apartment, then the appliance doors can be
unscrewed.
Always leave this work to be performed by a
specialist.
Connecting the appliance to the water
supply
All parts necessary for properly connecting to the water
supply are provided.
The water connections may be made only by a skilled
installer according to the local regulations of the
responsible water company.

Connect the appliance to a cold water line.
Minimum water pressure: 0.24 MPa (2.4 bar)

Maximum water pressure: 0.69 MPa (6.9 bar)

If there is damage to or leakage from the water
connection line, then this line is to be replaced by an
original manufacturer replacement part that can be
obtained through customer service.
The taste and smell of the water can be improved by the
installation of the provided filter cartridge into the water
filter

Electrical connection

Do not use extension cords or plug strips. To connect this
appliance, a permanently installed socket is necessary.
The socket for connecting the appliance must be freely
accessible. Connect the appliance to 220 240 V/50 Hz
alternating current through a properly installed socket.
The socket must be protected with a 10 A or higher fuse.
For appliances that are operated in non European
countries, the nameplate should be checked to see if
the indicated voltage and type of current correspond
to the values of your mains supply. Data for the
location of the nameplate can be found in the
section entitled Call customer service/nameplate".
A possibly necessary replacement of the power cord
must only be made by a specialist.

Under no circumstances is the appliance to be
connected to electric energy saving plugs or to
inverters that convert direct current into 230 V
alternating current, (e.g., solar facilities, ship power
supplies).
