Butter and cheese drawer
1 Raise container and remove.
2 Lightly press cover of the butter drawer on the sides
and remove.
3 To install: insert at desired height above the holder
and press downward.

Freezer compartment

The freezer temperature is adjustable from 16 ºC to
24 ºC. We recommend setting it to 18 ºC.
Use the freezer compartment for the following:
For storing deep frozen food.

For freezing food.

For making ice cubes

Note:
Ensure that the freezer compartment drawer is always
closed. When the drawer is open, the frozen food thaws
out and the freezer ices up heavily. In addition, energy is
wasted because of high power consumption.

Storing deep frozen food

Pay attention when purchasing deep frozen food:
Check the packaging to see if it is damaged.

Check the expiration date.

The temperature of the supermarket freezer must be

colder than 18 ºC. If it is not, then the storage life of
the frozen food is shortened.
Buy deep frozen foods last. Transport frozen food

home in a cold bag or wrapped in newspaper.
At home, put deep frozen food immediately into the

freezer compartment. Use up deep frozen food
before the expiration date.
Do not refreeze food that has thawed. Exception:

If you prepare the food (boil or roast), then you can
freeze this food again.

Freezing food yourself

For freezing, use only food that is fresh and in good
condition. Pack the food hermetically so that it does not
lose its taste or dries out. Foods are to be frozen as
quickly as possible.
