Malfunction
Ice maker does not make enough
ice cubes or the ice cubes are
misshapen.
Ice maker produces no ice cubes.
No LED lights up on the control g p
panel.
Red LED for the filter replacement
is on.

Possible cause
Appliance or ice maker was only
recently switched on.
A large amount of ice was removed.
Water pressure too low.
Filter cartridge clogged or spent.
Ice maker is switched off. The ice
maker arm is in the upper position.
Appliance is not supplied with water.
Water connection line has kinks.
Water pressure too low.
Temperature in the freezer
compartment is set too high.
Ice cube container is not properly
installed.
Water connection is improperly
installed.
Mains plug is pulled out.
Appliance was switched off at the
control panel.
Circuit breaker has tripped.
Power failure.
Sabbath Mode is switched on.
Filter cartridge is spent.
After replacing the filter cartridge, the
Replace Filter display was not reset.
Remedial action
It takes approx. 24 hours before ice
production begins.
It takes approx. 24 hours, until the ice
cube container is again filled.
Have water pressure checked. Water
pressure must lie between 0.14 MPa
(1.4 bar) and 0.69 MPa (6.9 bar). If a
filter cartridge is used, then the water
pressure must lie between 0.24 MPa
(2.4 bar) and 0.69 MPa (6.9 bar).
Replace Filter cartridge.
Switch on ice maker, move arm
downward.
Have a skilled installer check the
water connection line.
Turn off water supply. Smooth out
kinks. Have a damaged water
connection line replaced by an
original replacement part from the
manufacturer.
Have water pressure checked. Water
pressure must lie between 0.14 MPa
(1.4 bar) and 0.69 MPa (6.9 bar). If a
filter cartridge is used, then the water
pressure must lie between 0.24 MPa
(2.4 bar) and 0.69 MPa (6.9 bar).
Temperature in the freezer
compartment should be between
17 and 18 ºC; adjust if necessary.
Install ice cube container correctly.
An improper water connection can
cause low water pressure and
damage to the appliance.
Insert mains plug.
Press fridge or freezer compartment
button Ô.
Replace or switch on circuit breaker.
Wait until the power supply is again
restored. If necessary, inform the
electrical supply company.
If necessary, switch Sabbath off. See
Setup Mode".
Replace Filter cartridge. If no new
filter cartridge is available, use bypass
cover.
Reset Replace Filter display.
