Measurements (tests), hydraulic system
Note: Always remove all load from the cylinder affected before opening any hydraulic connection!
Move the piston rod of the cylinder to the position in which it is relieved of load (lowermost position).
Use the spacer plate from the tool kit when working on the elevation functions.
This measure will prevent excessive oil loss at the operating table.
3.1 Working pressure
The system operating pressure is 100 bar (for older models 120 or 130 bar).
This pressure can be measured at any cylinder.
To do so, connect the pressure gauge to the "A" end and actuate the appropriate function; continue until
the uppermost position is reached (1).
If the working pressure is too low, an adjustment can be made at the "DB 100" pressure limiter valve.
If this does not rectify the problem, then the DB 100 or 120, 130 pump or the motor is defective.
