A. - BAG-SPLITTER PRESS FAULTS
Bag light and sagging
Cutting blades on screw or bag cutter
panels worn
Bag loading too fast
Bags with very large ends (ties or
stitching that gets wedged between
screw and trough)
Foreign body inside press or in bags.
Suction system fault
A large piece of paper or string may be
wound around the screw
Chain tension needs to be adjusted
B. - REVOLVING SCREEN FAULT
Incorrect inclination of blade
Foreign bodies present.
Paper or string trapped in revolving
screen panel
Hygroscopic materials stick to panel
obstructing the holes
Defective extraction of product by
conveyor system downline.
Bag loading time and distance not

Product stay time in screen hopper too

CAUSE
GENERAL
Incorrect wiring.

POSSIBLE SOLUTION
Check and correct
After checking to make sure the bag falls
at the beginning of the screw, without
resting against the outside walls of the
infeed hopper, position loading belt
correctly.
Turn blade on screw or change bag
cutter panel
Respect loading times or space
between one bag and the next
Eliminate such bags
Check and remove.
Check working
Remove.
Tighten chain
Adjust blade inclination
Remove.
Remove.
Make sure the material does not build-up
moisture.
Install the machine in a dry place.
Clean panels regularly.
Check cause.
Adjust intervals
Adjust blade inclination, or increase
number, if necessary
Adjust product extraction by adjusting
conveyor system downline
Schedule replacement.
Check working
