Rotation Calibration Display
● To select the Rotation Calibration Display, hold the [M]
button in the Compass Mode. The rectangle "
indicator in the bearing direction box will flash.
● To start rotation calibration, press [S/S], the lines in the
bearing direction box will start making a rectangle,
turning the Station (keep your Station horizontally)
slowly for more than 2 turns.
● Press [S/S], [M] or [R] button to stop the calibration when
the 2-turn rotation calibration is completed.
● When the pointer stops rotating, press [A/B] to go back to
the Compass Mode or press [M] to switch to the
magnetic declination setting display.
● When the setting is completed, press [A/B] to confirm
setting and exit the setting display. If no key is pressed
for more than 1 minute, it will return to the normal
compass mode.
Magnetic Declination Mode
● Check the previous section "Magnetic Declination at
Major Cities" to choose the magnetic declination of the
city which is close to your current position. The value
can be input into the Station during the calibration.
● To select Magnetic Declination Display, press [M] in
Calibration Display.
● When the current magnetic declination value appears,
press [S/S] or [R] change the value. (Hold the button to
change the value at a higher peed).
● When the setting is completed, press [A/B] to confirm
the setting and exit the setting display. If no key is
pressed for more than 1 minute, it will return to the
normal compass mode.
