About Time Zone
● Since the sun shines on different places on the Earth is
different, the time of different places is different.
Therefore, our world is divided into serval time zones so
that people in different places can get a more accurate
and common time.
● All the time zone calculations are relative to the time of
Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) London or Coordinated
Universal Time (UTC). Therefore, the time zone of
London is 'UTC +0'. Hong Kong is 8 hours ahead the
time of Greenwich. Therefore, Hong Kong's time zone is
'UTC +8'. In this Station, it will show "HKG +8" to
represent the Hong Kong Time Zone.
Setting of the Local Time
● Hold [M] in the Current Time Mode and press [M] again,
the name of the world cities on the upper screen will
flash. Press [S/S] or [R] to select the local city where
you are or the city with the same time zone as your city.
When it is done, press [M] to move to the next setting
display or press [A/B] to confirm and exit the setting
mode.
