TO DRIVE / TRANSPORT ____________________________________________________
Read and follow all safety notes contained in this manual
when driving or transporting mower. Refer to Section 6.3
for general operating instructions. When operating in
reverse look behind you to ensure you have a clear path.
Important: If this mower is driven on public roads, it must
comply with federal, state, and local ordinances. Contact
local
authorities
for
requirements.
The mower is equipped with a transport lock to lock the
reels in their upright position. Use the transport locks
where required for transporting machine over rough
terrain, on public roads or on trailers.
To raise mowers to their transport position:
Set reel/3WD switch to OFF. Depress and hold the lift
pedal until the mowers are in their fully raised (transport)
position.
To engage transport locks:
1. Raise reels to their transport position.
2. Disengage all drives, engage parking brake, and
stop engine.
3. Remove pin (A) and slide handle (B) from the top
slot (C-Storage Position) to the bottom slot (D-
Transport Position). Insert pin (A) to lock handle (B)
in place.

The operator has the option to transport in either 2 wheel
drive (2WD) or 3 wheel drive (3WD).
NOTICE
Engage locks when storing machine overnight. To
prevent damage to the mower, the transport lock must
be disengaged before reels can be lowered for
cutting.
