Recording
 Press REC on the remote control or front of the device to start the recording.
 You can pause and restart the recording by pressing PLAY/PAUSE.
 When you want to stop recording press STOP. Please wait until the "Please Wait ..." screen message
disappears . Your recording has now finished.
OneTouch recording
A OneTouch recording makes it possible to record for a set period.
 Follow the steps as in "Preparing a manual recording" in the previous chapter.
 In order to start recording for a specified period, press the REC button several times. Each time you press
the button, recording time is extended by 30 minutes. The recording time is shown in the device display.
The maximum recording time depends, however, on the storage space available on the disk.
 Recording stops automatically at the end of the selected recording time.
Displaying the recording
 Press DVD on the remote control, to switch to DVD mode.
 Press PLAY/PAUSE, to show the title menu for your recording on the screen.
Your device saves the following information whenever it records:

recording date and channel source,

time of recording and recording length

recording mode and preview
 If there are several recordings on the DVD, use the arrow keys to select the desired recording. The
recording currently selected is framed in yellow. Press PLAY/PAUSE, to see your recording. Press MENU
to return to the menu.

Automatic recording

You can program up to 16 recordings with your DVD recorder. Proceed as follows to program a recording:
 Ensure that the time and date are set correctly on the device and, if necessary, reset them from S E T U P
> I N S T A L L A T I O N > S e t T i m e .
 Insert a DVD+R or DVD+RW into the recorder. Check whether there is enough room on the DVD.
 Press TIMER on your remote control to open the timer menu.
 You can see a list of the pre-programmed recordings, provided recordings have been entered. Select an
empty memory slot, using the up and down arrow keys  . It is marked with - - - .
 Press ENTER, to edit the programme position. The editing field opens for the selected programme
position.
