For example, if you have inserted a DVD that is coded with authorisation class 7 or 8 (ADULT) and you have
selected authorisation classes 1 to 6, a message appears and the viewer must enter a password. Parts of a
DVD – certain scenes, for example – may also be encoded with an authorisation class or a range of
authorisation classes.
Changing the password
You can change the factory password here.
 Öffnen Sie den Änderungsdialog mit ENTER.
 Enter the old password (the factory- set password is: 3308).
 Use the number keys to specify the four digits for the new password.
 Enter the new password again.
 After entering the data, confirm with E N T E R . The new password has been saved.
To correct an incorrectly entered digit press CLEAR.
Autom. Settings
Automatic time
Specify whether the time on the DVD/video recorder is to be set automatically. It is only possible to use this
function when there is an aerial signal via the integrated receiver.
VPS/PDC
Specify whether the DVD/video recorder should use the VPS signal emitted by some channels. This makes
for a more accurate recording in the case of programme changes.
The VPS signal is not emitted by all channels. That is why only the time is significant with many
broadcasts which are saved in a programmed recording.
If you have a SAT or DVB-T receiver connected, no VPS signals are transferred.
VCR
It is possible to use this menu item only if a videocassette is inserted and video recorder mode is enabled.
Index marks, which are set automatically during recording (see Chapter marking), may be searched here.
 Choose Index +, to wind a videocassette on to the next index entry.
 Choose Index -, to wind a videocassette back to the previous index entry.
 With Search 0 Position, the cassette is wound to the zero position.
