j) Assembling the Motor

Use the support plates (2) to mount the motor (2) onto the motor carrier.
Put the attachment screws (3) through the support plates and the motor carrier
and screw them into nuts on the rear of the motor carrier.
Important:
Secure the screws with screw resin lacquer.
Join the fuel hose on the tank oscillator (4) with the connection on the carburettor;
next, join the overflow hose (5) with the pressure connection on the muffler.
A return valve must be mounted to the third hose used to fuel the model to
prevent fuel from escaping from the tank.
If the model plane is to be refuelled via the hose on the tank oscillator, the third
hose must be sealed, e.g. with a screw.
Bend the muffler linkage (1) as shown in the illustration. Make sure that the
linkage can move easily.
Suspend the linkage in the muffler of the carburettor (2).
Cut out the cowling along the contours. Temporarily fix the two halves together
Gradually adjust the cowling to the motor.
Our tip:
Mount the rear plate of the spinner onto the motor shaft to perfectly
adjust the cowling.
Once you are happy with the results, roughen the adhesive surface with
sandpaper from the inside.
Next, glue the two halves on the inside face with 5-minute epoxy resin.
