c) During Operation
• Follow the instructions of the manufacturer when handling model fuels. Model fuels are harmful to health! Fuel the model plane using suitable maintenance
parts (model fuel pump or similar), never spill model fuel, environmental hazard!
• Fumes from combustion motors are harmful to health. Never operate the combustion motor in closed rooms, not even for test purposes. Observe the operating
instructions for the combustion motor.
• Do not take any risks when operating the product! Your own safety and that of your environment is solely down to you being responsible when dealing with the
model.
• Improper operation can cause serious damage to individuals and/or property! Therefore, during operation, make sure there is sufficient safe distance to
persons, animals or objects.
• Select an appropriate site for the operation of your model airplane.
• Fly your model only if your ability to respond is unrestricted. The influence of tiredness, alcohol or medications can cause incorrect responses.
• Do not direct your model towards spectators or towards you.
• Never point the telescope antenna of the transmitter directly onto the model. This significantly reduces the transmitter signal transmission to the model.
• Both the motor and muffler get hot during operation. Risk of burns when touching the model plane (e.g. when moving it, etc.)!
• Always leave the remote control (transmitter) turned on, as long as the model is in operation. After stopping the combustion motor, disconnect the receiver
from the power supply. Only then should you switch off the remote control (transmitter).
• In case of a fault or a malfunction, resolve the problem before using the model again.
• Don't expose your model or the remote control for a longer period of time to direct sunlight or excessive heat.

7. General battery and Rechargeable Battery Notes

Make sure you observe the following information and safety instructions when handling batteries or rechargeable batteries.
• Keep batteries/rechargeable batteries out of the reach of children.
• Do not let batteries/rechargeable batteries lie around openly. There is a risk of batteries being swallowed by children or pets. If swallowed, consult a doctor
immediately!
• Batteries/rechargeable batteries must never be short-circuited, taken apart or thrown into fire. There is danger of explosion!
• Leaking or damaged batteries/rechargeable batteries may cause acid burns when coming into contact with skin, therefore use suitable protective gloves.
• Do not recharge normal batteries. There is a risk of fire and explosion! Only charge rechargeable batteries intended for this purpose. Use suitable battery
chargers.
• When inserting batteries/rechargeable batteries or when connecting a battery pack observe correct polarity (note plus/+ and minus/-).
• If the device is not used for a longer period of time (e.g. storage), remove the inserted batteries (or rechargeable batteries) from the remote control to avoid
damage from leaking batteries/rechargeable batteries.
• Recharge the NiCd or NiMH rechargeable batteries about every 3 months, as otherwise there may be a total discharge due to self-discharge, which makes the
rechargeable batteries useless.
• Always replace the whole set when replacing batteries in the receiver and transmitter. Do not mix full batteries/rechargeable batteries with half-full ones
Always use batteries or rechargeable batteries of the same type and manufacturer.
• Never mix batteries and rechargeable batteries!
