8. Connection

Ensure that the mains adapter of the device is disconnected and all GAIN, channel and MAIN sli-
ders are set to the minimum value before the device is connected or any connection is changed.
Make sure that all electrical connections and connection cables between the different devices
and any extension cables comply with the regulations and the operating instructions.
Only connect audio outputs with suitable shielded connection cables. Use of any other cables
may cause interferences.
To avoid distortions or mismatches that could damage the device, only connect devices with
the same connection type.
For this, observe also the connection information in the section "Technical Data".
Cables are important connection links in the system. Therefore, use high-quality step-protected
cables with high-quality plugs. Do not place the mixer's in/output cables directly adjacent to
mains cables. If required, cross the cables at a 90-degree angle to keep the danger if interfe-
rence as low as possible.
Last, connect the included mains adapter with the device. For this, connect the low-voltage plug to the mixer
mains adapter socket. Only then plug the mains adapter into a 230V AC / 50Hz household mains socket. The
device is switched on.
