14. Troubleshooting
Only one side of a channel is played back via the MAIN sockets.
•
Check the position for the channel's PAN control.
•
Verify the cables connected to the MAIN sockets.
•
The volume control of one PA-amplifier channel is set to "MINIMUM".
No display is present at the LED level indicator.
•
The signal level is too low.
No playback via the headphones.
•
Check the PHONES control position.
No playback of the CD/TAPE signal at the MAIN output.
•
Check the cable connected to the CD/TAPE input.
•
Is a signal present at the channel input? Check the signal source.
•
The GAIN control or the channel slider of channel 3/4 are not set correctly.
No playback of the integrated MP3 player at the MAIN output although the display indicates playback.
•
The GAIN control or the channel slider of channel 3/4 are not set correctly.
The MP3 files are not played back
•
Do not create any mixed data carriers with MP3 files and other audio files.
No ID3 tag text displays are played.
•
The MP3 files on the storage medium (USB storage, SD card) include no ID3 tag text information.
No tracks are recognised on the storage medium.
•
No MP3 files are present on the storage medium.
•
Observe correct formatting or the max. memory capacity for the storage medium. See technical data.
•
The storage medium is not suitable for the device (manufacturer-specific hardware configuration).
No effect signal is played back at the MAIN sockets.
•
Dials EFF and EFFECT are set to minimum.
•
Dials DELAY and REPEAT are set to minimum.
•
The socket EFFECT is used by a plug. No socket at the device plays back a processed "effect signal".
Repairs other than those described above must only be carried out by an authorised specialist.
