Safety instructions

(1) LINE/CD input selector:
Use the input selector to select between the individual inputs (signal sources) of the channel. The selected signal
source is fed through this mixer channel.
Minimise the volume using the corresponding channel fader (6) before switching an
input selector. Possible differences in volume between the input sources may otherwise
cause sudden excessive volume.
(2) PHONO/CD input selector:
Use the input selector to select between the individual inputs (signal sources) of the channel. The selected signal
source is fed through this mixer channel.
Minimise the volume using the corresponding channel fader (6) before switching an
input selector. Possible differences in volume between the input sources may otherwise
cause sudden excessive volume.
(3) TRIM control:
Use the TRIM control to set the input sensitivity of the channel. The different signal strengths of the individual chan-
nels can thus be pre-amplified and adapted to one another.
The level indicator (5) shows the input level. The indicator should not exceed "0dB", as
otherwise the music signal can be distorted. Set the TRIM control accordingly.
(4) HIGH, MID and LOW controls:
Use these controls to change the sound characteristics of the respective channel.
• HIGH = treble control
• MID = mids control
• LOW = bass control
• Turn the control all the way to the left for maximum attenuation.
• Turn the control all the way to the right for maximum gain.
• In centre position, the control does not influence the signal (neutral position).
