6. Connections and Control Elements
20) POWER LED
The POWER LED is lit when the mixer is in operation.
21) LED level indicator
The LED level indicator indicates the level of the MAIN signal. The balance should not exceed the "0dB" value if
possible. Short exceeding of this mark is negligible. Always avoid the CLIP LED lighting up. This would possibly
lead to analogue signal overmodulation and distortion.
22) DELAY + REPEAT control
Use these controls to make the settings for the effect generator.
23) PHONES control
This control adjusts the volume of the connected headphones. The headphones signal is identical to the MAIN
output signal.
Turn the PHONES control to the "0" position before plugging in, unplugging or putting on the
headphones or before switching the mixer on or off. There is a danger of damage to your hea-
ring from excessive volume at the headphones output.
24) AUX MAIN control
The control is used to set the level of the AUX sum signal at the AUX socket.
25) EFFECT control
Set the intensity for the sum effect signal for the MAIN signal with this control. The mixed effect/main signal is
pending at the MAIN, PHONES and CD/TAPE OUTPUT sockets.
Please observe that the sum effect signal is also influenced by the EFF controls of the chan-
nels. See EFF control.
26) MAIN slider
The MAIN slider is used to set the level for the left and right output signals at the MAIN sockets.
27) Mains adapter socket
The included mains adapter is connected to this socket. The connection is used to supply the device with power.
The mixer has no main switch. The mixer is operational once the included mains adapter is
connected to the device and the mains socket.
28) MAIN sockets
The mixer's MAIN output signal is applied to these 6.3mm jack outputs. A PA amplifier can be connected here.
The output level is set via the MAIN slider.
