Connection

Before connection, disconnect the power mixer and all other devices which are to be
connected to it from the mains voltage (pull mains plug out of the socket).
Always use suitably shielded audio cables to connect inputs and outputs. Using incor-
rect cables may lead to interference.
To avoid distortion or mismatching that may damage the mixing desk, only connect sui-
table devices with a corresponding input/output to the inputs/outputs.
For this, observe also the connection values in the section "Technical Data".
The following applies for all cinch connections:
• The white cinch jack is the jack for the left channel.
• The red cinch jack is the jack for the right channel.

Connection on the front of the appliance

There are four mono channels available to which you can connect a microphone or a line device
each.
The microphone inputs have an additional phantom feed for condenser microphones without their
own power supply.
An audio source with cinch outputs can be connected to the line input of channel 4.
In order to prevent mismatching and damage, you may only connect microphones to
the microphone inputs and devices with line output level to the line inputs.
Only activate the phantom feed of the respective channel if a condenser microphone
without own power supply is connected to the microphone input.
Only connect one device per channel.
• Connect the XLR outputs of your microphones with the connections MIC (9).
• If required, turn on the phantom feed with the switch 48V (10). The LED above the respective
switch is lit when the phantom feed is activated.
• Connect the jack outputs of your line devices with the connections LINE (11).
• If available, connect the cinch outputs of your line device with the connection TAPE/CD/LINE IN
(12).
The inputs on the front (with exception of the connection TAPE/CD/LINE IN (12)) are
switched symmetrically.
