Always pull the power plug out of the socket
- before cleaning it
- during thunderstorms
- if you are not going to use the appliance for longer periods of time
Make sure that the protective conductor (yellow/green) is neither interrupted in the power cable, a possibly
connected extension cable nor in/on the product. An interrupted protective conductor poses mortal dan-
ger! Operation without a protective conductor connection is not permitted!
When opening the covers or removing parts except where possible by hand, you may
expose live parts. Connections may also be live. Prior to aligning or repair work or exchan-
ging parts or modules, you must separate the appliance from all power sources if you need
to open it. Only an expert familiar with the risks and the pertinent regulations may repair or
maintain an open live appliance.
Never turn the device on immediately after bringing it from a cold room into a warm room. The condensati-
on may destroy the appliance under adverse circumstances. Leave the appliance turned off until it has rea-
ched room temperature. Wait until the condensation has evaporated.
Also observe the safety notices and operating instructions of your remaining music appliances.
In commercial facilities, observe the accident prevention instructions and the regulations of the professional
association.
Do not put any open fire sources like burning candles etc. onto the appliance.
Only use the appliance in moderate climate, not in a tropical climate.
The device may only be operated by persons familiar with the respective safety notices and this operating
manual.
Do not place the device on a soft surface, like a carpet or bed or similar. This prevents the heat dissipation
in the device and may lead to overheating.

(1) ON/OFF switch (POWER)
Turn the mixing desk on and off with this switch. The appliance is turned on when the switch is in the "ON"
position; the operating LED (2) is lit.
(2) Operating indicator
The operating LED lights up when the device is turned on.
(3) BOOTH controller
With this controller, you adjust the level of the BOOTH output (26).
Position "0" means minimum level, position "10" maximum output level.

Symptom
Possible cause
The sound is too low
The talk over switch (11) is on.
Fader/gain slider is wrongly
adjusted.
There is a humming sound

between the devices.

set wrongly.

connected amplifier is

The connected appliance
does not meet the required
specifications for a cinch
connection or does not
have a cinch connection.
Gain slider is wrongly adjusted,
the mixing desk is oversteered.
Other repairs as described above may only be performed by an authorised workshop.
Error remedy
Only use the talk over switch when
you want to make an announce-
ment with the microphone.
Adjust the fader/gain slider
correctly.
Make a ground connection
between the devices via the
ground screw clamp (31).
Exchange the cable.
Connect the signal ground with
a specially ground-insulated cable.
Attention! Do not interrupt ´
the protective earth connection
of the voltage supply!
Check the connections
between the appliances.
Adjust the balance controller.
Set fader slider as described.
Use appliances with a proper
cinch connection.
Adjust the gain slider as described.
