8. Installation and Connection

a) Installation

Select a proper installation site as described in chapter 6.

b) Connection

Please observe:
Prior to connecting the corresponding cables / appliances to the inputs and outputs of the
mixing desk, turn the mixing desk off, separate it from the mains and pull the power plug. Also
turn off all other appliances before connecting or disconnecting them.
Reset all the „GAIN" controllers and all sliders to minimum (position „0").
Otherwise, the mixing desk and all other appliances may become damaged and sudden loud
sounds or feedback may damage your hearing!
Only then you may turn on the mixing table and all other appliances one after the other.
Cables are important connections in the system, therefore you should use high-quality step-proof
cables with high-quality plugs.
All cables/lines must be screened.
In order to avoid distortions and impedance mismatches that may lead to damages on the mixing desk
or the other appliances, you may only connect sources with a cinch output to the cinch inputs (line level)
and vice versa.
Please observe the connection values in the mixing desk's „Technical Data" and that of all other
appliances.
Do not install the input/output cables of the mixing desk directly next to power cables.
