1. Loosen the screw on the battery
compartment and remove the cover
Caution: Before charging and after each fl ight, the battery must cool down for approx. 15-30 minutes. Otherwise, the battery may become damaged. Always monitor the charging procedure.
A fi re-resistant surface and fi reproof environment must always be chosen for the charging process.
1. Switch off the helicopter and the remote control unit (fi g. 1).
2. Carefully disconnect the plug on the battery cable from the helicopter (fi g. 2).
3. Connect the charger power pack with the Li-Ion charger. Now plug the
power pack into a socket. The red LED on the Li-Ion charger illuminates.
4. Carefully plug the white plug of the Li-Ion battery into the Li-Ion charger.
Do not apply force (fi g. 3).
5. The charging process takes approx. 180 minutes and must be continuously
supervised. The green indicator lamp on the charger starts to illuminate
once the battery has been fully charged.
After a charging time of 180 minutes, the helicopter can fl y approx. 6–8 minutes. The charging process may not take longer than 180 minutes. If the LED indicator does not illumi-
nate after this time, the charging process should be stopped. Then check the functions of the helicopter and continue to fl y until the power is not suffi cient or the rotors come to a
standstill. Then repeat the charging process described above.
Warning: the Li-Ion battery warms up during charging, but if it becomes hot and/or changes are shown on the surface, the charging process must be stopped immediately!
