Fitting The Cross Actuation Device - Truma GO2 RH1 Gebrauchsanweisung, Einbauanweisung

Set the correct distance between tyres and rollers (20 mm) by
moving the drive assemblies (in the disengaged position) in the
longitudinal direction. The adjustable centre bar makes it pos-
sible to adjust to the frame width.

Move the drive assemblies in a lateral direction in such a way
that as much of the tread area of the tyre as possible is covered.
Ensure that there is an
adequate distance between
the gearbox and the tyres / shock
absorbers so that they do not
come into contact.
The minimum distance with the
drive rollers engaged is 10 mm.
Once the drive assemblies have been correctly positioned,
tighten the nuts and bolts of the mounting set a little, then
check the required distances again. The weight of the caravan
must rest on the wheels when doing this.
Position the adjustable cross-strut in the middle (e.g. use a
meter rule to measure on the open sides of the cross-strut),
tighten the 4 bolts (20 Nm) and secure them with the lock nuts.
Check the distance of 20 mm
from the tyre again (with wheels
under load), then tighten the
2 M8 bolts and the M10 bolts
from the mounting set to 20 Nm
and 40 Nm respectively.
In order to ensure correct
mounting it is essential to
tighten the bolts in the
sequence shown.
Check once again that all 6 bolts have been tightened to
the correct torque.

Fitting the cross actuation device

Make sure that the drive rollers are not engaged (on both
sides).
Push the connection pipe (1) into the central pipe (2) with the
holes facing outwards.
Push the connection pipe (1) onto the deflexion bolts (a).
Push bolts (5) through the deflexion bolts and tighten.
Centre the central pipe (2), measuring again if necessary. In
this position, tighten the 2 bolts (4) and M8 nuts (3) (20 Nm).
Finally, check all the bolted connections again.

Engage the rollers using the lever provided. The drive rollers
should now be engaged on both sides. Check the opposite
side as well. Disengage the drive rollers again.
Repeat this procedure on the opposite side.
