3. Insert the sender into the sleeve. The two holes in the upper sen-
der section should correspond to the holes in the sleeve.
4. Secure the sender by inserting the retainer pin through the holes.
5. Lock the retainer pin by installing the rings at both pin ends.
Tie the control cable of the blind plug to one of the retainer pin rings.
You will need the blind plug to remove the sender. In this case The blind
plug must be secured in the same way as the sender.
Please note that a considerable quantity of water can enter
the ship when the sender is being removed.
Never remove the sender when the ship is in the water.
The sender can be covered with a thin coat of antifouling paint. This co-
ver must be free of air inclusions, which would impair the echosounder
function.
