Replacing the paddle wheel

INSTALLATION
The paddle wheel of the sender is rotated by
the flowing water. The speed of rotation of
this paddle wheel is measured, and trans-
mitted to the indicating unit.
Two different paddle wheels are supplied
with the system to obtain optimum functio-
ning in all measuring ranges. A wheel with
six paddles is installed in the sender. It is
used for ranges up to 20. Use the four-padd-
le wheel for higher measuring ranges, up to
50.
Use a screwdriver to replace the paddle
wheel.
Carefully lift the paddle wheel shaft upwards
and remove from the sender.
Insert the shaft in the other paddle wheel,
and install shaft and wheel, using the scr-
ewdriver.

When changing the paddle wheel check for
the correct direction. The wheel surface cur-
ved inwards (1) must point to the pointed
sender strap (2).
When inserting the sender the pointed end
of the sender strap must point to the bow.
