MAIN FUNCTIONS
In this example the alarm is triggered if the depth is less than the alarm
threshold of 7 m. The current water depth is 4.0 m. The acoustical alarm
can be muted with the "ENTER" key, or it steps after 30 seconds auto-
maticly. The flashing alarm signal remains on until the depth exceeds
the alarm threshold by 1 m.
The navigation alarm (acoustical and optical) is automatically switched
off when the depth exceeds the alarm threshold by 1 m again.
Proceed as follows to deactivate the navigation alarm:

In this example the navigation alarm is deactivated. The set alarm thres-
hold of 7 m is stored by the unit.
The arrow in the LC display can point up or down; this depends on the
current depth at which the navigation alarm setting is made, or the alarm
is activated.
The arrow points downwards if the current depth at the setting time is
less than the alarm threshold. In this case the alarm is triggered when
the depth attains or exceeds the alarm threshold.
