g) Mounting of drive battery

To install the battery pull off both retaining clips (1)
and lift the mounting brace (2) out towards the top.
Now place the rechargeable battery into the chassis
and replace the mounting brace. The securing of the
mounting brace is then taken on by the two retain-
ing clips again.
The battery recess is designed for many different
types of rechargeable batteries.
Next to in-inline soldered racing packs (see picture),
battery packs with cells that are aligned in parallel
can also be used. In this case the mounting brace
has to be put in with the top side pointing downward.
Even 7-cell racing packs can be used when the
mounting brace (3) on the back is taken off and the
back chassis drilling (4) is put back in.
Warning!
The rechargeable battery pack must not yet be connected to the cruise control/receiver.
