b) Operation

• Every time before you use the product, make sure that there are no other models operated within
the range and on the same frequency as the remote control. The control over remote controlled
vehicles will get lost! Always use different frequencies.
• Every time before you use the model, the settings of the trim for driving forward/reverse as well as
for steering have to be controlled and if necessary they have to be changed.
This is why the wheels of the vehicles must not be put on the ground yet when it is put into opera-
tion; hold the vehicle in a way so that the wheels can turn freely (don't put your hands in the drive!).
After that, adjust the trim so that the motor no longer turns when you let go of the lever for forward/
reverse operation or until the steering assembly is straight (the precise settings for driving straight
can be carried out later on whilst driving).
• When putting the device into operation always turn on the transmitter first. Only then can the re-
chargeable battery pack of the vehicle be connected with the cruise control/receiver and the model
be switched on. Otherwise there may be unexpected responses of the cruise control/receiver and
therefore the electric model! Pull the telescopic antenna out completely.
• Improper operation can cause serious damage to people and property! Only drive as long as you
have visible contact to the model. This is why you shouldn't drive at night.
• Only drive when your ability to react is unrestrained. Tiredness or the influence of alcohol or drugs
can cause incorrect responses, just as with real vehicles.
• Please note that this model vehicle must not be driven on public roads or streets. Only operate it on
private sites or places which are specifically designated for this purpose.
• Don't drive towards animals or people!
• Don't drive in the rain, through wet grass, water, mud or snow. The model is not waterproof or
watertight.
• Also avoid driving at very low outdoor temperatures. In the case of coldness, the plastic of the car
body can loose its elasticity; this is when even small accidents can lead to damages to the model.
• Do not drive in the case of thunderstorm, under high-voltage power lines or in the proximity of radio
masts.
• Do not take any risks when operating the product. Your own security and that of your environment is
solely down to you being responsible when dealing with the model.
• Always leave the remote control (transmitter) turned on, as long as the model is in operation. To
stop the vehicle, always turn the vehicle off first and then separate the rechargeable battery pack
from the cruise control/receiver, only after that can the remote control be turned off.
• Before operating the model, check whether the stationary model reacts as expected to the remote
control commands.
• In the case of weak batteries (or rechargeable batteries) in the remote control, the range decreases.
When the drive battery is getting weak, the vehicle will get slower or will no longer respond correctly
to the remote control.
