f) Installation of the battery slide / servo board

The battery slide is already installed in the fuselage. During flight, very high
forces act on the adhesive joints due to the rudder pressure of the servos and
the weight of the installed battery.
Therefore, check the adhesive joints of the two vertical mounts (1) as well as of
the vertical mount (2) of the battery slide/servo board (3). In case of doubt,
check the adhesive joints. Use thickened 5-minute epoxy resin adhesive for
this purpose.

g) Installing elevator and rudder servos

Screw the servos for the rudders (1) and elevator (2) in the rear part of the
fuselage into the battery slide/servo board.
On the rudder horn of the elevator servo (3), mount the "bent Z" of the elevator
linkage (4). Attach the rudder horn (3) at a 90° angle to the fuselage axis.
On the tail, set the elevator to neutral and cut off the rods for the elevator
linkage leaving an excess of 5 mm. Fix the rods into place with the screw of the
rod connection.
With the rudder, mount the "bent Z" of the rudder linkage (6) on the rudder horn
of the rudder servo (5) the same way as with the elevator. Attach the rudder
horn at a 90° angle to the fuselage axis. In addition, mount a rod connection (7)
for linkage of the nose landing gear on the opposite side of the rudder horn.
On the tail, set the rudder to neutral and cut off the rods for the rudder linkage
leaving an excess of 5 mm. Fix the rods into place with the screw of the rod
connection.
Connect the servos temporarily to your receiver and carry out a function test
afterwards. The rudder levers on the servos must be in neutral position after
turning the receiver on (90° to the fuselage axis).
Once everything functions perfectly, fix the two Bowden pull tubes (8) in place
with a bit of thickened 5.minute epoxy resin.
