4. Pour la mesure de températures dans la plage de -20 ° C à 1200 °C au maximum,
il faut disposer d'un adaptateur de mesure de température et d'un capteur de type
K. Tous deux sont proposés en option. Raccordez l'adaptateur (à trois broches)
aux douilles " µ.mA", "COM" et "V" en respectant la polarité. Raccordez ensuite le
capteur de type K à l'adaptateur en respectant la polarité (différence de largeur
des lames de contact). Appuyez ensuite une fois sur la touche "ALT F". L'afficha-
ge principal passe de la mesure de diodes Zener à la mesure de températures en
"°C". Le petit affichage indique la température absolue en Kelvin. Un nouvel appui
sur la touche "ALT F" permet de passer à l'affichage de la température en "°F" en
gros caractères. Ici aussi, le petit affichage indique la température absolue en Kel-
vin.
Il convient de noter que "hors" de la plage de température de
+18 °C à +28 °C (= plage de précision de mesure garantie), seul
le thermocouple doit être exposé à la température à mesurer.
Ne branchez pas de tensions. Cela pourrait détruire l'appareil.
J Utilisation du multimètre en liaison avec un ordinateur
L'appareil de mesure est livré avec un logiciel complet tournant sous Windows 3.1x
ou 95/98 ainsi qu'avec le câble d'interface infrarouge correspondant. L'utilisateur
doit disposer d'un minimum de connaissances dans le domaine de l'utilisation et de
la programmation d'un PC.
a) Raccordement
Raccordez le câble d'interface RS 232 au multimètre (face inférieure du boîtier) et à
une interface série de l'ordinateur (éteint). L'interface du multimètre est une interface
IR bidirectionnelle (avantage : pas de liaison galvanique entre l'ordinateur et l'ap-
pareil de mesure).

order to quit the sub-function, press "HOLD" twice.
e) STORE and RECALL (record and replay)
Up to 10 measured values can be recorded with the storage function (store) and filed
in 10 numbered storage locations (0 ..... 9). You can read off these stored contents
with the RECALL sub-function. The stored contents will be retained , even if the mea-
suring device is switched off (OFF) (EEPROM). "AUTO OFF" will flash when you
press "MENU". Select the "STORE" sub-function and confirm it with "ENTER". Sel-
ect the "Addr" storage address (storage location) (0 to 9) by pressing the push but-
tons "<" or ">", carry out the measurement and confirm the storage with "ENTER".
This method enables you to put numerical values into all 10 storage locations. Keep
in mind that the Auto-range function is deactivated in the mode "Store".
Press "MENU" again to call up the stored values, select the "RECALL" function and
confirm with "ENTER". Select the (possibly noted) storage address (Addr 0 ...9). The
stored measured value will be displayed.
In order to quit the sub-function (STORE or RECALL), press "HOLD" twice.
f) GO /NG (go / no go function = a method of comparative measurement)
You can carry out comparative measurements with this sub-function, whereby the
"FAIL" and "PASS" conditions will be displayed. Fail signifies that the presently mea-
sured value lies outside the set reference range. Pass signifies that the presently
measured value lies within the reference range. The reference values are storable
(storage addresses "Addr 0 ... 9").
"AUTO OFF" flashes when you press "MENU". Select the "GO /NG" sub-function
and confirm with "ENTER". You are now in "REF" mode ("REF" symbol under
"GO/NG" above right). The storage address for any available reference values will be
shown in the small display.
There are now two ways of inputting a reference value: f1 for input via a previously
occupied storage address, or f2 for direct input.
f1) Select the storage address and confirm it with "ENTER". The stored reference
value will be shown in the main display and you can continue by inputting the range
limits (tolerances) in "+%" and "-%". The display will then show "+%" above on the
right and the small display will flash. You can select the tolerances successfully with
the push buttons "<" and ">". Input the tolerance range in 0.1 or 0.2 or 0.5 or 1.0 or
2.0 or 5.0 or 10 or 20 or 50 or 100% and confirm it with "ENTER". The d display will
then show "-%" above on the right and the small display (beneath) will flash again.
Also input the desired % value here and press "ENTER" again.
The GO/NG function has been started. "PASS" will be displayed if the presently mea-
sured value lies within the pre-set tolerance limits. In contrast, "FAIL" will be display-
ed if the presently measured value lies outside the pre-set tolerance limits.
