Soyez particulièrement prudent lorsque vous devez tirer la

Variateur de vitesse (PRO51B - PRO51K - PRO51X)
• Le variateur de vitesse permet d'adapter l'avancement de la
tondeuse à toutes les conditions de coupe et d'utilisation grâce
à une variation continue de la vitesse. Pour changer de vitesse
d'avancement, mettez le moteur en marche, puis actionnez la
manette de commande du variateur. C'est l'observation de votre
pelouse qui vous guidera dans le choix de la vitesse optimale :
- vitesse lente : herbe haute et dense,
- vitesse rapide : herbe rase.
Evitez de manipuler la manette du variateur quand le moteur
est à l'arrêt car vous risquez de désolidariser la courroie du
système d'entraînement.
En cas de manipulation, placez-vous sur la position
mise en route et revenez à la position de tonte habtuelle.
Conduite de la tondeuse
• Faites particulièrement attention en changeant de sens sur les
terrains en pente. Ne tondez jamais face à la pente, mais au

Die Geschwindigkeit sollte immer nur bei laufendem Motor
neu eingestellt werden, da sonst der Keilriemen abspringen
kann.
Falls Sie die Geschwindigkeit ändern wollen, gehen Sie nach dem
Starten in Stellung und stellen Sie dann die wünschte
Geschwindigkeit ein.

• With its continuous speed variation the speed controller enables
you to adapt the speed of the lawnmower to all types of cut and
use. To change the driving speed start the motor then operate

- Slow : tall and thick grass.
- Fast : short grass.
Avoid moving the speed control knob when the engine is
stopped, because there is the danger of loosening the drive
belt.
If it has been moved, put it in position
to the usual cutting position.

Operating the mower

• Take special care when changing directions on sloping ground.
Never mow up or down the slope, always mow across (fig 5 -
page 19). Always keep a safe distance away from the lawn mower
cutting deck.
