Connecting the Telephone to a PC

Requirements
– A PC meeting the system requirements (see chapter Important Informa-
tion > System Requirements,
– A telephone put into operation
– Network cable

Switch the PC on.

Insert one cable end (RJ-45) of the network cable into the PC socket at the
bottom side of the telephone.
Important: Connecting a PC to the network cable socket at the bottom side
of the telephone leads to malfunctions.
 Therefore, note the socket labels.
3.
Insert the other cable end (RJ-45) of the network cable into a network con-
nection port of your PC.

Configuring the Telephone using the Configuration Manager

– Network connection between the PC and the telephone
