Insert the other cable end of the network cable into an output socket of the
DSL router/switch or into an available network socket.
Note: To operate a COMfortel 2600 IP without PoE support, insert the other
cable end of the network cable into the PoE socket of the PoE Injector and
connect the PoE Injector to the network via the LAN socket.

If required, insert the wall wart(s) and PoE Injector into a power socket.
Notes:
In the case you want to configure your telephone without DHCP server, see
chapter Commissioning > Configuring Network Settings Manually.
During the automated configuration from a provisioning server, the tele-
phone requests the URL of the provisioning server and the name of the pro-
visioning file from the DHCP server, the redirect server, or the Auerswald

The telephone starts. Meanwhile, the Auerswald company icon and the
Android icon are shown on the display.
If a DHCP server has been configured in the local network, the tele-
phone automatically receives its IP address, subnet mask and the
gateway and DNS server addresses from this DHCP server during a
DHCP request.
The dialogue in which you select the language and the setup assistant
appears (only during the initial start-up of the telephone).
