Store Telephone Numbers in the Tele-
phone Book
The telephone book is good for entries of useful
and often dialed telephone numbers together with
the name. You can enter up to 70 telephone num-
bers into the telephone book. You can search the
entries by scrolling or by entering the initial and
directly dial the displayed telephone number out of
the telephone book.
If a telephone number entry of the telephone book
is presented when called, also the corresponding
name is shown on the display. An existing name
stored in the PBX (e.g. in the short-code dialing
memory) will have the second priority to an entry
in the telephone book of the telephone.
Press and hold the telephone book

key until the cursor blinks in the sec-
ond line of the display on the right
side.

Enter the telephone number to be
stored via the keypad (18 digits max-
imum).
Press the telephone book key again.
The cursor blinks in the bottom dis-
play line at the left side now.

Enter the name to be stored with the
keypad (16 signs maximum). The
allocation of the individual keys is
indicated in the table on
Press the OK key to go forward to
the next letter (only necessary if two
letters following one after the other
have to be entered with the same
key).
If you completely entered the name,
press the telephone book key again.

The cursor is blinking in the second dis-
play line at the right side now and you can
enter the next entry. If you do not like do any other
entries, wait 25 seconds without pressing any key
or press the delete key
During the entry of the telephone number you can
delete the last digit with the delete key
You can additionally store the DTMF signs

enter pauses with the redialing key
the digits if necessary.
During the entry of the name you can enter spaces
by pressing the OK key
If the telephone number entry is longer than 18
digits, the message „TOO LONG" will appear on
the display and the telephone number will not be
stored.
If the entered name has more than 16 characters,
the exceding characters will not be accepted.
Operation with a PABX: Please enter a preceding
exchange line access number to an external tele-
phone number (e.g. „0").
Delete an Entry of the Telephone Book
on
Press the telephone book key.
The last entered telephone book
entry will be displayed.
